APPROVING FINAL MAP OF SUBDIVISION TRACT 4495,
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF MECARTNEY ROAD
AND AUGHINBAUGH WAY, AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN PARCELS,
EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF WAY (NORMANDY - DORIC
DEVELOPMENT, INC., SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, there has been heretofore filed with and
approved by this Council a Tentative Map of that certain proposed
subdivision known as Tract 4495; and
WHEREAS, Doric Development, Inc. a California
corporation, has presented to the Council for approval a Final
Map of that proposed subdivision known as Tract 4495; and
WHEREAS, said Final Map delineates thereon a "Street
Dedication" (Mecartney Road) for the use and purpose of a public
street and certain nonexclusive easements for public utilities
and their appurtenances designated "Public Utilities Easement"
(P.U.E.), "Power Easement" (P.E.), and "Storm Drainage Easement"
(S.D.E.), dedicated to the public; and certain rights of access
over Lots "A" thru "J" for operations of public safety vehicles
and emergency equipment dedicated to the City of Alameda;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Final Map of Tract 4495 be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public street and
easements dedicated to the public and rights of access dedicated
to the City of Alameda are hereby accepted, on behalf of the
public and the City, for use in conformity with the terms of the
offers of dedication.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 16th of December, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and
President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Corica - 1.
ABSENT: None.
