AWARDING CONTRACT TO ALAMEDA PAVING & EXCAVATING,
INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE VIEW ISLE STORM
DRAIN RECONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Bridge View Isle Storm
Drain Reconstruction in accordance with Specifications No. P.W.
8-86-30 approved November 18, 1986; and
c . WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Alameda Paving & Excavating, Inc. agreeing to
perform said work in accordance with said Specifications for the
sum of $8,010.00; and

;-r WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
:L. proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
,C4 4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Alameda Paving & Excavating, Inc. is
r hereby accepted, the contract for construction of Bridge View
Isle Storm Drain Reconstruction is hereby awarded to said bidder,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk
to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 6th of January, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef
and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
