AWARDING CONTRACT TO GALLAGHER & BURK, INC. FOR
PATTON WAY PHASE II, ATLANTIC AVENUE EXTENSION,
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Patton Way Phase II,
Atlantic Avenue Extension, in accordance with Specifications No.
P.W. 5-86-11 approved November 18, 1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Gallagher & Burk, Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$1,265,050; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
, of Alameda that the bid of Gallagher & Burk, Inc. is hereby
- accepted, the contract for Patton Way Phase II, Atlantic Avenue
Extension, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 6th of January, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef
and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.

APPOINTING T. DAVID EDWARDS
AS A TRUSTEE OF THE ALAMEDA COUNTY
MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
T. DAVID EDWARDS be, and he is hereby, appointed as a member of
the Board of Trustees of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement
District, to represent the City of Alameda, for a two-year term
beginning January 2, 1987.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be forwarded to the Board of Trustees of the Alameda
County Mosquito Abatement District.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
