Resolution 11104CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11104 APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2312 N.S., AN INTERIM ORDINANCE PROHIBITING EXEMPTIONS FROM PARKING REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, on December 2, 1986 this Council adopted Ordinance No. 2312 N.S., an Interim Ordinance prohibiting exemptions from parking requirements of up to fifty percent of existing buildings or changes in use which would require less than fifty percent more parking, and ordered a zoning study to determine the feasibility of requiring that new uses of existing buildings, or expansions of existing buildings, meet more stringent parking requirements; and WHEREAS, the Planning Department has completed the requested study which is currently being circulated for public Nc. comment under the California Environmental Quality Act and will be considered by the Planning Board at its February 23, 1987 cz meeting; and +-0 WHEREAS, the Interim Ordinance will expire February 15, . 1987, which is 45 days after the effective date of the Ordinance, a. unless it is extended through Council action; and c vt,e WHEREAS, a three-month extension of the Interim Ordinance will permit completion of the Planning Board and City Council review process; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that, pursuant to Government Code Section 65858 and following public hearing thereon, Interim Ordinance No. 2312 N.S. is hereby extended for a period not to exceed three months from its present expiration date. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of February, 1987, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas and President Diament - 3.
