Resolution 11108CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11108 AUTHORIZING REDUCTION OF RETENTION ON HARBOR BAY PARKWAY, PHASE III, P.W. NO. 1-85-2 WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with Gallagher & Burk, Inc. on April 17, 1985 for the Construction of Harbor Bay Parkway Extension, Phase 3, funded by Assessment District 84-4 and an Economic Development Administration grant; and WHEREAS, due to the long construction time of this project Gallagher & Burk, Inc. has requested a reduction in the 0 „; +-I :-.. retention from ten percent to five percent; and WHEREAS, Caltran's Standard Specifications allow for a retention reduction to five percent after completion of twenty percent of a contact; and WHEREAS, this project is ninety-five percent complete; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the contract retention on Harbor Bay Parkway Extension, Phase 3, P.W. No. 1-85-2, is hereby reduced to five percent for the remainder of the contract. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th of February, 1987, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
