APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 5009 FOR DIVISION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1236 -1240 POST STREET AND APPROVING
EXCEPTIONS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR LOT WIDTH AND
SIZE AND THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE FOR UNDERGROUNDING
OF UTILITIES (GEORGE AND VIVIAN HAZARD, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, George Hazard and Vivian Hazard, owners and
subdivider herein, have presented to the Council for approval a
Parcel Map for subdivision of property located at 1236 -1240 Post
Street, known as Parcel Map No. 5009; and
WHEREAS, subdivider has requested exceptions to the
Zoning Ordinance for lot width and size and exceptions to the
Subdivision Ordinance for undergrounding utilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 5009, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, subject to the
findings and conditions contained in City of Alameda Planning
Board Resolution No 1678 adopted on January 13, 1987.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following exceptions to
the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance are hereby approved:
1. Creation of a lot 40.645 feet wide.
2. Creation of a corner lot 45.025 feet wide.
3. Creation of two lots with areas of 2032.25 square
feet and 2251:25 square feet, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the exception to the
requirements of the Subdivision Ordinance for undergrounding
utilities is hereby approved.

the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 17th of Pebruary, 1987,
