AWARDING CONTRACT TO BOB DRON, HARLEY- DAVIDSON
MOTORCYCLES, FOR TWO POLICE DEPARTMENT MOTORCYCLES
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for two motorcycles for law
enforcement use in accordance with Specifications No. MSP 1 -87 -1
approved January 20, 1987; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Bob Dron, Harley - Davidson Motorcycles agreeing to
furnish said motorcycles in accordance with said Specifications
for the sum of $13,475.85; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal was the single qualified bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Bob Dron, Harley- Davidson Motorcycles
is hereby accepted, the contract for Two (2) motorcycles for law
enforcement use is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 3rd of March, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas and
President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Vice Mayor Monsef - 1.
