CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
IN THE MATTER OF COSTS OF CONSTRUCTION OF SPRUCE
STREET, EAST OF THIRD STREET, AND ASSESSING
COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF WORK PERFORMED
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1985, this Council adopted its
Resolution No. 10761 directing the performance of street
improvement work in Spruce Street east of Third Street by the
Superintendent of Streets; and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has caused said
work to be performed and on March 17, 1987 filed his Report
thereon and presented same to this Council for consideration;
and
WHEREAS, notice of said Report was given to the affected
property owners pursuant to Section 5881 and following of the
California Streets and Highways Code, and fixed Tuesday, March
17, 1987, at 7 :30 p.m., in the Council Chambers located in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, as the time and place when said
Council would hear and pass upon said Report, together with
objections or protests, if any, thereto which might be raised by
any property owner liable to be assessed for such construction;
and
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1987, said hearing was duly held,
and this Council heard, considered and passed upon said Report;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Report of the Superintendent of Streets upon
the completion of work performed on Spruce Street east of
Third Street, the cost thereof and the assessment against the
parcels of land proposed to be levied to pay said cost, be and
the same hereby is confirmed as submitted by the Superintendent
of Streets.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 17th day of March, 1987
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas,
Monsef and President Diament - 5
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
