AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
SUBDIVISION 5716 AND APPROVING BONDS AS TO SUFFICIENCY
(A SUBDIVISION FOR CONDOMINIUM PURPOSES, ALAMEDA
MARINA VILLAGE)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of
the Alameda Municipal Code, Alameda Marina Village Associates, a
California limited partnership, owner and subdivider herein, has
prepared and presented to this Council the Final Map of the
Subdivision known as Tract 5716; and
WHEREAS, subdivider has entered into an agreement to
construct and complete the improvements in said subdivision, has
filed the final Map therefor for approval at this time, and has
agreed to post a set-aside letter at the time of obtaining
financing for said improvements, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said work, all in accordance with said Article;
and
WHEREAS, it will be to the advantage and benefit of the
City to have said work performed in accordance with said
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the agreement for construction and
completion of the public improvements in said subdivision, and
all its terms and conditions be, and hereby is, approved and the

--, -- City Manager and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to
- execute and attest to, respectively, said agreement on behalf of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a set-aside letter in the
amount of $1,506,071, guaranteeing full and faithful performance
of the subdivider's said public improvements construction
contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 17th day of March, 1987
by the following vote to wit:
