AWARDING CONTRACT TO JACK MOORE & SONS, FOR LANDSCAPE
IMPROVEMENTS FOR ATLANTIC AVENUE, ALANEDA MARINA VILLAGE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-3, P.W. N0.8-86-32, AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Landscape Improvements for
Atlantic Avenue, Alameda Marina Village Assessment District 84-3,
in accordance with Specifications No. P.W.8-86-32, approved
February 17, 1987; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by JACK MOORE & SONS agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $29469.64; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the bid of JACK MOORE & SONS is hereby accepted,
the contract for Landscape Improvement for Atlantic Avenue, Alameda
Marina Village Assessment District 84-3, is hereby awarded to said
bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of April, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
