AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH
FINAL MAP 5603 AND APPROVING CASH DEPOSIT AS TO
SUFFICIENCY (SOUTHWEST CORNER OF OTIS DRIVE AND WILLOW
STREET, HARVEY C. DONG AND BEATRICE TAM DONG,
SUBDIVIDERS)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of
the Alameda Municipal Code, Harvey C. Dong and Beatrice Tam
Dong, owners and subdividers herein, have prepared and presented
to this Council the final Map of the subdivision known as Tract
5603; and
WHEREAS, subdividers have entered into an agreement to
construct and complete the improvements in said subdivision,
have filed the Final Map thereof for approval at this time, and
have posted a cash deposit guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said work, all in accordance with said Article;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the advantage and benefit of the
City to have said work performed in accordance with said agree-
ments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the agreement for construction and completion
of the public improvements in said subdivision, and all its terms
and conditions be, and hereby is, approved and the City Manager
and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and
attest to, respectively, said agreement on behalf of the City
of Alameda.
BE IT FURTHERE RESOLVED that the cash deposit in the sum
of $20,000 guaranteeing full and faithful performance of the
subdivider's said public improvements construction contract,
is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of April, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
