AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH TOUCHE
ROSS & COMPANY, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS,
FOR FINANCIAL AUDITING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Touche
Ross & Company, certified public accountants, to provide various
financial auditing services;
WHEREAS, an Agreement for Auditing Services has been
submitted and the Council is fully informed and aware of the terms
and conditions thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, that certain
agreement referred to above by and between Touche Ross & Company
and the City of Alameda, for its services relating to examinations
of the City's financial records.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of April, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
