ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR BIDS FOR
CONSTITUTION WAY (FORMERLY PA ION WAY), PHASE IIIA, STREET
CONSTRUCTION, P.W. NO. 3 -86 -5, AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, specifications and plans have been prepared for
Constitution Way (formerly Patton Way), Phase IIIA, Street Construction,
numbered P.W. 3 -86 -5 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on
April 28, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that said Specifications be, and the same are, hereby approved
and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda
will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. on THURSDAY,
MAY 21, 1987, for furnishing to the City of Alameda all labor, materials,
machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred
to, in accordance with said Specifications and Plans. Bids must be
presented to the City and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Constitution Way (Formerly Patton Way) Phase IIIA, Street Construction,"
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions
of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits
the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.

the Director of Public Works, at his office in the City

City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda
notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the

Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular
meeting assembled on the 28th of April, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef
and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
