AWARDING CONTRACT TO 0. C. JONES & SONS FOR
MARINA VILLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-3,
INDEPENDENCE DRIVE AND ATLANTIC AVENUE STREET
IMPROVEMENTS, NO. P.W. 4-87-9, AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Marina Village Assessment
District 84-3, Independence Drive and Atlantic Avenue Street
Improvements, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 4-87-9
approved April 28, 1987; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by O. C. Jones & Sons agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$1,458,314; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
-tL of Alameda that the bid of O. C. Jones and Sons is hereby
accepted, the contract for Marina Village Assessment District
p 84-3, Independence Drive and Atlantic Avenue Street Improvements,
is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby
° authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
> , contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd of June, 1987,
