AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF TV MINIATURE
CAMERA AND SELF - PROPELLED SEWER INSPECTION POWER
TRACTOR
WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Fiscal Year
1986 -87 Sewer Services Budget for the purchase of a TV Miniature
Camera and Self- Propelled Sewer Inspection Power Tractor for the
Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, only one supplier can both provide compatible
equipment and provide service /repair within a reasonable
distance; and
WHEREAS, purchase on the open market will result in
considerable savings to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3 -15 of the City Charter the
Public Works Department, in cooperation with the City Purchasing
Agent, is hereby authorized to purchase a TV Miniature Camera and
Self- Propelled Propelled Sewer Inspection Power Tractor.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd of June, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
