Tuesday in May following the next General Municipal Election,
-, at which a successor shall be elected in accordance with the
CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11210
APPOINTING RITA HAUGNER
TO OFFICE OF COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy in an elective office, to
wit, a Councilmember, by virtue of C.J. Corica being elected to
the office of Mayor, thereby vacating his position of Council-
member on April 21, 1987,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Sections 2-7 and 2-8 of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, RITA HAUGNER is hereby appointed
to the office of Councilmember, for a term commencing June 2,
provisions of said Charter.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd of June, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Monsef, Thomas and
President Corica - 4
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None(Vacant Seat).
