CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 216
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR MINOR
HOME REPAIR SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1887-88
WHEREAS, the City is a participant in the Community Development
Block Grant Program (CDBG) authorized under the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1074, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda's approved use of CDBG funds
includes the provision of a Minor Home Repair Service for Seniors and
Disabled Citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda has programmed $29,250 in FY 1087-88
Community Development Block Grant funds for the purpose of providing
this service; and
WHEREAS, the County of Alameda has an existing Minor Home Repair
Service and has proposed to provide this service for the City of
Alameda;
00W, TBEBDDU8E, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to eoecute,
and the City Clerk to u±tent, on behalf of the City, an agreement with
the County of Alameda for provision of the Minor Home Repair Service for
fiscal year 1987-88.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 16th of June, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef and
Acting President Thomas - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Corica - 1.
