Resolution 11218CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11218 AWARDING CONTRACT TO THE SINGLE LOWEST QUALIFIED BIDDER FOR GRAND STREET/SHORE LINE DRIVE SANITARY SEWER PUMP STATION AND FORCE MAIN, NO. P.W. 2-86-1, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore published notice calling for bids for Grand Street/Shore Line Drive Sanitary Sewer Pump Station and Force Main, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 2-86-1 approved April 2, 1987; and WHEREAS, in response to said notice four sealed bid were submitted agreeing to perform said work in accordance with said Specifications; and WHEREAS, portions of the project will be funded by state and federal grants which require provisions for a percentage of the construction work to be done by a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Women Business Enterprise (WBE); and WHEREAS, "Positive Effect Documentation" forms have been submitted by all four of the bidders and are currently being reviewed by the State Water Resources Control Board for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda, that subject to the approval from the State Water Resources Control Board, said Council hereby accepts all bids and awards the contract to the contractor who qualifies as the single lowest qualified bidder for Grand Street/Shore Line Drive Sanitary Sewer Pump Station and Force Main, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of June, 1987, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef and Acting President Thomas - 4. NOES: None. ABSENT: Mayor Corica - 1.
