AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE UNDER-
GROUND TANK REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO THE CITY
HALL BUILDING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Alameda City Council has previously
allocated $87,128 to the Underground Tank Replacement /Monitoring
Project, Capital Improvements Number 86 -13.
WHEREAS, the Alameda City Council has previously
allocated $98,000 to the City Building Improvements, Capital
Improvements Number 83 -2, with $73,000 available at this time.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Alameda City Council direction, the
City Hall Upgrade Committee will be recommending Sally Swanson
and Associates to complete the design services for City Hall.
WHEREAS, there is a $87,000 shortfall to complete the
architectural design services.
WHEREAS, the $87,128 in the Underground Tank Replacement
Project was to provide for underground tank replacement and
monitoring which, based upon the City's consultant's test, do not
require replacing at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the unencumbered balance of $87,000 from the
Underground Tank Replacement /Monitoring Project #86 -13 be
transfered to the City Building Improvements Project #83 -2 for
architectural design services.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 7th of July, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
