Resolution 11236CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11236 AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE PAY TELEPHONES FOR THE CITY AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has prepared a Request for Proposal to provide pay telephones for the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Request for Proposal is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive proposals up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. on August 6, 1987, in accordance with said Request for Proposal. Proposals must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside "City of Alameda Pay Telephone Proposal," or similar designation. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said %Request for Proposal may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Enginer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star, a notice calling for proposals, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Request for Proposal. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th of July, 1987, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas and President Corica - 5.
