AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
THE AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY MUNICIPAL UTILITY
DISTRICT TO PROVIDE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BRIDGEWAY
PUMP STATION
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1986, by its Resolution No.
11031, this Council authorized the execution of an agreement with
East Bay Municipal Utility District, hereinafter referred to as
District, to convey ownership of the Bridgeway Sanitary Pumping
Station and Interceptor Facilities to the District; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been prepared
to provide for the installation of a standby power source to
improve the reliability of the Bridgeway Pump Station.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by, the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and each hereby
is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to,
respectively, on behalf of the City, Amendment No 1 to the
Agreement with East Bay Municipal Utility District to provide for
Improvements to the Bridgeway Pump Station.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 21st of July, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
