APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN OPERATING BUDGET AND
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS /GAS TAX BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEARS
1987 -88 AND 1988 -89, AND APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONEYS FOR THE
EXPENDITURES PROVIDED IN SAID BUDGETS FOR SAID FISCAL YEARS AND
AMENDING THE MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE GROUP
SALARY RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this
Council at this meeting, a budget representing a financial plan
for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1987 and ending June 30, 1988 and the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989, and a Capital
Improvements and Gas Tax Budget for said fiscal years; and
WHEREAS, said budget provides for three positions which
are not included in the Management and Confidential Employee
Group salary resolution effective January 1, 1987;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that said budgets as submitted to and amended by
this Council at this meeting, and each and every part thereof,
be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted as the
Operating Budget and Capital Improvements /Gas Tax Budget for
the City of Alameda for the fiscal years 1987 -88 and 1988 -89,
and that the expenditures of the various sums of money therein
provided to be spent for salaries and wages, maintenance and
operation, capital outlay and capital improvements by each
department as therein listed in detail are hereby approved and
authorized in total, by the above object classification, as the
appropriations for the fiscal years ending June 30, 1988 and
June 30, 1989.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA that the Salary Resolution for Management and
Confidential employees is hereby amended to include those
positions attached hereto as Exhibit A.
