Resolution 11293CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11293 ADOPTING REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW REST ROOM FACILITY AT LINCOLN PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING TO ADVERTISE SAME WHEREAS, on its Resolution No. 11284 on September 1, 1987, this Council rejected the single bid received for construction of rest rooms at Lincoln Park and authorized modification of the project plans and resubmittal for approval; and WHEREAS, revised specifications and plans have been prepared for a New Rest Room Facility at Lincoln Park, numbered P.W. 6 -87 -13 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on September 15, 1987. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said revised Specifications be, and the same are, hereby approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 1:30 p.m. on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1987, for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Plans. Bids must be presented to the City and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for New Rest Room Facility at Lincoln Park11 or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the Director of Public Works, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times -Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said specifications and plans. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed rby the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of September, 1987, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Thomas and President Corica - 4. NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilmember Monsef - 1.
