CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11294
ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A NEW RECREATION
BUILDING AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS FOR FRANKLIN PARK,
P.W. 6-87-14, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, specifications and plans have been prepared for
a New Recreation Building and Related Improvements for Franklin
Park, numbered P.W. 6-87-14 and filed in the office of the City
Clerk on September 15, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Specifications be, and the same are, hereby
approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock
p.m. on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1987, for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary
for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said
Specifications and Plans. Bids must be presented to the City and
plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for New Recreation
Building and Related Improvements for Franklin Park" or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the
responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The
right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications may be had by any prospective bidder
application to the Director of Public Works, at his office in
„wthe City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
:>-Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in
---,accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
\. specifications and plans.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed ty
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 15th of September, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Thomas and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Monsef - 1.
