AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS
FOR CONSTITUTION WAY, PHASE II, NO. P.W. 5 -86 -11
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda at its
meeting of January 6, 1987, awarded the contract to Gallagher &
Burk, Inc. for Constitution Way, Phase II /Atlantic Avenue
Extension, No. P.W. 5- 86 -11, in the amount of $1,265,050; and
WHEREAS, due to various unforeseeable site conditions,
additional extra work was required that exceeds the funding
allocated for contingencies; and
WHEREAS, $126,505 was allocated for contingency costs for
this project with an additional $120,000 being necessary to cover
this extra work, increasing the amount allocated for
contingencies to $246,505.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the additional sum of $120,000 is hereby
-appropriated from the Alameda Marina Village Assessment District
84 -3, Series III, bond sale proceeds for Constitution Way, Phase
II, No. P.W. 5- 86 -11.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 20th of October, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
