APPOINTING GEORGIA SAMUELSON AND PHYLLIS LUFKIN,
MEMBER AND ALTERNATE RESPECTIVELY, TO THE BAY
AREA LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM LAY ADVISORY
BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
pursuant to the requirements of the California Library Services
Act of 1977, and upon nomination of the Library Board of the City
of Alameda, Georgia Samuelson and Phyllis Lufkin are hereby
appointed, member and alternate respectively, to the Bay Area
Library and Information System (BALIS) Lay Advisory Board for a
two -year term commencing November 1, 1987.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 1st of December, 1987,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Haugner, Monsef, Thomas and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Camicia - 1.
