Resolution 11361CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11361 AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF PATROL VEHICLE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, on September 13, 1987, patrol car #108 was involved in a major collision which resulted in damage to this vehicle that would not be cost effective to repair; and WHEREAS, in fiscal year 1986-87 the City replaced patrol vehicles through a purchase from Swift Dodge in Sacramento; and WHEREAS, the bid from Swift Dodge was the lowest available and they still have a few of these vehicles left at the same price; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ' of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter the Police Department, in cooperation with the City Purchasing Agent, is hereby authorized to purchase one patrol vehicle from 0 Swift Dodge in Sacramento at a price of $11,091.58. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds to purchase said ---„:„qvehicle are hereby appropriated from General Liability Reserve Fund. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of December, 1987, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Haugner, Monsef, Thomas and President Corica - 4.
