APPROVING PARCEL MAP 5171 FOR DIVISION OF RESIDENTIAL
PROPERTY WITHIN THE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS "NORMANDY ",
LOCATED AT THE TERMINUS OF CHRISTENSEN COURT, PERMITTING
RECORDING THEREOF, AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED
EASEMENTS (DORIC DEVELOPMENT, INC., OWNER)
WHEREAS, Doric Development, Inc, a California
corporation, has presented to the Council for approval Parcel Map
5171, being a division of Lot "J ", Tract 4495, Book 167, Pages
39 -44 and Parcels 5 and 6 5014 O.R. 387, Alameda County Records,
Alameda, California; and
WHEREAS, Parcel Map 5171, consisting of three parcels, is
a division of Lot J and the "B.E. Ratto" and "M. Kahn" property,
located at the terminus of Christensen Court within Tract 4495;
and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map hereby dedicates to the City of
Alameda the rights of access over Parcel "A "; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11- 1319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No. 5171, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based upon the
findings and subject to the conditions set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No. 1773 passed on August 24,
1987.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the rights of access over
Parcel "A" dedicated to the City of Alameda is hereby accepted,
on behalf of the City, for use in conformity with the terms of
the offers of dedication.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 5171 is consistent with the City's General Plan,
and pursuant to Section 11- 3112(h) determines that discharge of
waste from the subdivision into the sewer system will not violate
regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 19th of January, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
