SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILL 2093 PROHIBITING
VENDING MACHINE PORNOGRAPHY IN PLACES WHERE
MINORS ARE PERMITTED
WHEREAS, the California Assembly has passed AB2093 which
prohibits vending machine sales of harmful materials to minors;
and
WHEREAS, citizens of this City have expressed concerns
that their children can obtain harmful matter from vending
machines,
NOW, THEREFORE, City Council of the City of Alameda
hereby endorses AB2093.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 1st of March, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Monsef, Thomas and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
ABSTENTIONS: Councilmember Haugner - 1.
