Resolution 11427CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11427
ENDORSING THE ENIGMA GROUP, AN ALAMEDA BUSINESS,
IN THEIR EFFORTS TO OBTAIN A FEDERAL CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Enigma Group, Inc. is a small local
business operating in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the Enigma Group has submitted a bid for a
Federal contract to redeem merchandise coupons from product
manufacturers presented at government PX stores; and
WHEREAS, the Enigma Group, if awarded the contract, has
indicated it will provide approximately 150 jobs to local
residences; and
WHEREAS, the successful efforts of the Enigma Group to
>obtain the Federal contract can only enhance the economic and
employment conditions in the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Alameda supports the efforts of the Engnma Group and
requests that the Navy Resale Services Support Office award them
the Federal contract ( #N00250 -88 -B -0010) for coupon redemption.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing'
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 15th of March, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Thomas, Monsef, Camicia, Haugner
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
