Resolution 11431CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11431 ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS FROM THE ALAMEDA HOUSING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AT ATLANTIC AVENUE AND WEBSTER STREET AND AT ATLANTIC AVENUE AND CONSTITUTION WAY WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda approved Resolution No. 546 on September 1, 1987, dedicating easements to the Bureau of Electricity for electrical equipment at 1) the northeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and Webster Street and 2) the northwest corner of Atlantic Avenue and Constitution Way; and WHEREAS, said easements are to accommodate the equipment necessary to serve the future senior citizen housing 6 and the street light electrification of the Constitution Way, Phase II, project; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that said easements be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the cciCity of Alameda that the City of Alameda does hereby accept from the Alameda Housing Authority said easements for the installation of lighting, electrical equipment, and traffic signal equipment in those areas described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" attached hereto, and said Council, acting for and on behalf of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said Easements and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of California. EXHIBIT "A" A portion of that certain real property commonly known as Makassar Strait Village — A, being a portion of Tract 32, as said tract is delineated and so designated on the map entitled, "Map of Alameda Marsh Land, as partitioned among the owners thereof, in the suit numbered 8923 and entitled, Pacific Improvement Company, plaintiff, vs. James A. Waymire, et al., defendants, Superior Court of Alameda County, State of California. ", filed for record July 30, 1900 in Book 25 of Maps at page 74, Alameda County Records, and described as follows: Being a portion of that certain parcel of land described as "Area 'A'" in the complaint in condemnation, in the suit numbered 24109—R, and entitled, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff, vs. Certain Areas of land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California., et al., Defendants," in the District Court of the United States, in and for the Northern District of California, Southern Division, c. 1945, and in addition, a portion of a fifty (50) foot wide strip of land, northerly of and immediately adjacent to the above described "Area 'A' ", all within said Tract 32, and further described as follows: COMMENCING at a granite monument set at the point of intersection of the line segregating the high and dry land from the marsh land, which segregation line is the southern boundary of the lands partitioned and delineated on said Map of Alameda Marsh Lands, with the center line of the main line track of the Southern Pacific Company; THENCE North 19° 16' 03" West, 306.09 feet to a point on the northern line of Atlantic Avenue as described in the deed from the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, to the City of Alameda, recorded July 23, 1986, Series No. 86- 176566, Alameda County Records, and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE along said northern line of Atlantic Avenue, North 84° 28' 32,5" East, 7.00 feet to a point of tangent curve, concave to the northwest, having a radius of 22.00 feet; THENCE northeasterly along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 73° 03' 02 ", an arc distance of 28.05 feet; THENCE South 84° 28' 32.5" West, 5.15 feet; THENCE South 54° 28' 32.5" West, 11.17 feet; THENCE South 84° 28' 32.5" West, 13.22 feet; THENCE South 5° 31' 27.5" East, 10.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
