RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT AND AN ELECTRICAL
EASEMENT LOCATED WITHIN TRACT 5716 IN THE
ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT, FIXING
TIME AND DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING, AND ORDERING
PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF NOTICE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
it is the intention of this Council, in accordance with the
provisions of Chapter 8, General Vacation Procedure, of the
California Streets and Highways Code, to order the vacation of
portions of a sanitary sewer easement and an electrical easement
located within Tract 5716 in the Alameda Marina Village
Development, situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, and more particularly described in
Attachment "A" and "B ", respectively.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that reference is hereby made for
particulars of the proposed vacation to those certain maps
entitled, "12.5' Sanitary Sewer Easement To Be_ Vacated Within
Alameda Marina Village Development" and "10' Electrical
Easement To Be Vacated Within Alameda Marina Village Develop-
ment" on file in the office of the City Clerk.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice is hereby given that
the 3rd day of May, 1988, at 7 :30 p.m. is hereby fixed as
the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, as the place, for hearing all persons interested in
or objecting to the herein proposed vacations, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to publish a copy of this resolution twice, once in
each of two successive weeks prior to said hearing, in the
official newspaper of the City of Alameda, and to cause to be
posted Notices of said proposed easement vacation in the manner
prescribed in Section 8323 of said Streets and Highway Code.
Portion of 12.5 Foot Sanitary Sewer Easement to be Vacated
Within the Alameda Marina Village Development
All that real property located in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State
of California, described as follows:
COMMENCING at the northwestern corner of Lot 1, as shown on Parcel Map No.
4923, recorded September 1, 1987, in Book 170 of Maps, at Page 72, said
point being on the northern line of that 12.5' sanitary sewer easement
described in various instruments recorded between August 11, 1952 and
December 23, 1958, inclusive, under Recorder's series numbers AG65820,
AP52863, and AP135310; Official Records of Alameda County;
THENCE easterly along said northern line, 917.19 feet, to a point on the
southwestern line of Independence Drive, as shown on Parcel Map No.
4949, recorded June 30, 1987, in Book 170 of Maps, at Page 6, Official
Records of Alameda County, California, said point being the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing easterly, along said northern line, 1,205.0 feet to a point
on the eastern line of that 10 -foot public utilities easement, as shown
on Parcel Map No. 3755, recorded May 21, 1982, in Book 133 of Maps, at
page 74;
THENCE southerly at right angles, 12.5 feet, to a point on the southern line of
said 12.5 foot sanitary sewer easement;
THENCE westerly at right angles, 1,195.8 feet, along said southern line, to a
point on said southwestern line of Independence Drive;
THENCE North 33 °20'05" West, 14.10 feet;
THENCE northwesterly along a tangent curve, concave to the southwest, having a
radius of 364.00 feet, 0.92 feet through a central angle of 00 °08'42"
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing: 15,005 sq. ft. (0.344 of an acre) more or less.

Alameda Marina Village Development
BEGINNING at the southwestern corner of Lot 2, as shown on Parcel Map No. 4611,
recorded August 30, 1985, in Book 155 of Maps, at page 64, said point
being on the southern line of that 10 -foot electrical easement
described in that instrument recorded August 3, 1961 under Recorder's
Series number AS94401; Official Records of Alameda County;
THENCE North 86 °20'21" West, 196.69 feet, to the southwestern corner of said
10 -foot electrical easement;
THENCE North 3 °42'51" West, 79.0 feet;
THENCE North 86 °17'09" East, 10.0 feet;
THENCE South 3 °42'51" East, 69.0 feet;
THENCE South 86 °20'21" East, 289.06 feet, to a point on the western line of
that 10 -foot public utilities easement, as shown on Parcel Map No.
3755, recorded on May 21, 1982, in Book 133 of Maps, at page 74;
THENCE South 4 °48'26" West, 10.00 feet, along the southern prolongation of said
western line, to a point on the southern line of said 10 -foot
electrical easement;
THENCE North 86 °20'21" West, 102.18 feet, to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing: 3,680 sq. ft. (0.084 of an acre), more or less.
