AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE ALAMEDA POLICE DEPARTMENT AND DEPARTMENT
OF CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL FOR TRAINING
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
California Highway Patrol requires written training agreements
from any agency participating in the training programs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Alameda
desires from time to time to participate in certain training
programs sponsored and administered by the Department of
California Highway Patrol.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Chief of Police is hereby authorized and
= directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City, training
agreements by and between the City of Alameda and the State of
California, Department of California Highway Patrol.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 5th of April, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Thomas, Monsef, Camicia, Haugner
and President Corica.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
