AWARDING CONTRACT TO MOUNTAIN CASCADE, INC. FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF MAJOR STORM DRAIN SYSTEM, HARBOR
BAY PARKWAY TO CATALINA AVENUE, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
84-4, NO. P.W. 2-88-2 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Construction of Major Storm
Drain System, Harbor Bay Parkway to Catalina Avenue, Assessment
District 84-4 in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 2-88-2
approved March 7, 1988; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Mountain Cascade, Inc. agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $347,452;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Mountain Cascade, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for Construction of Major Storm Drain
System, Harbor Bay Parkway to Catalina Avenue, Assessment
District 84-4, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 19th of April, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
