AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH EAST
BAY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT TO PROVIDE NORMAL
WATER SUPPLY FACILITIES FOR HARBOR BAY BUSINESS
PARK, NORTH LOOP ROAD, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-4
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda at its
meeting of February 5, 1985, completed action on the
establishment of Assessment District 84-4; and
WHEREAS, said assessment district provides funding for
North Loop Road and related improvements within Harbor Bay
Business Park; and
WHEREAS, East Bay Municipal Utility District will provide
plans and specifications which include installation of water
pipes and appurtenant water supply facilities within the public
right-of-way, and materials to be installed by the contractor;
and
WHEREAS, the cost of providing all pipe fittings and
related appurtenances as normally furnished by the East Bay
Municipal Utility District for the installation of the
facilities, and engineering and inspection costs related to this
work, is $123,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager and the City Clerk be, and each
hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to,
respectively, on behalf of the City, an agreement with East Bay
Utility District to provide normal water supply facilities for
2Harbor Bay Business Park, North Loop Road.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 5th of July, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
