AWARDING CONTRACT TO GALLAGHER & BURK, INC. FOR
REPAIR AND RESURFACING OF CERTAIN STREETS, PHASE
10, NO. P.W. 2-88-5 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Repair and Resurfacing of
Certain Streets, Phase 10, in accordance with Specifications No.
P.W. 2-88-5 approved June 21, 1988; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Gallagher & Burk, Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$446,210.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
>. of Alameda that the bid of Gallagher & Burk, Inc. is hereby
ec accepted, the contract for Repair and Resurfacing of Certain
Streets, Phase 10, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the
,r Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to
, Cl< attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 19th of July, 1988,
