AWARDING CONTRACT TO MONTEREY MECHANICAL CO. FOR
BRIDGEWAY PUMP STATION EXPANSION, NO. P.W. 1-87-1
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Bridgeway Pump Station
Expansion, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W. 1-87-1
approved June 7, 1988; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Monterey Mechanical Co. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$666,000.00, including add alternate; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Monterey Mechanical Co. is hereby
accepted, the contract for Bridgeway Pump Station Expansion is
t hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized
to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf
:\z of the City of Alameda.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 19th of July, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
