AWARDING CONTRACT TO BOB MALOY & ASSOCIATES FOR
REMOVAL OF EXISTING AND SUPPLY OF NEW LIBRARY
STACKS, NO. P.W. 5-88-9, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Removal of Existing and
Supply of New Library Stacks, in accordance with Specifications
No. P.W. 5-88-9 approved June 21, 1988; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Bob Maloy & Associates agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $37,793.00;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Bob Maloy & Associates is hereby
accepted, the contract for Removal of Existing and Supply of New
Library Stacks is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd day of August, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Haugner, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5
