APPOINTING ANTHONY "LIL" ARNERICH
TO OFFICE OF COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy in an elective office, to
wit, a Councilmember, by virtue of Rita Haugner resigning,
thereby vacating her position of Councilmember on August 14,
1988.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Sections
2 -7 and 2 -8 of the Charter
of the City of Alameda, ANTHONY "LIL" ARNERICH is hereby
appointed to the office of Councilmember, for a term commencing
September 6, 1988, and to continue until 8:00 p.m. on the third
Tuesday in May following the next General Municipal Election, at
which a successor shall be elected in accordance with the
provisions of said Charter.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 6th of September, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Camicia, Monsef, Thomas and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
