APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO 5437 (315 CYPRESS STREET
AND 314 -316 SPRUCE STREET) AND GRANTING AN EXCEPTION
TO THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE FOR UNDERGROUNDING OF
UTILITIES
WHEREAS, Song Wha and Tsuiming Lee, owners and
subdividers, have presented to the Council for approval a Parcel
Map for subdivision of property, located at 315 Cypress Street and
314 -316 Spruce Street, and known as Parcel Map 5437.
WHEREAS, on August 8, 1988, the Alameda Planning Board
determined that there would be no significant environmental
impact form the proposed subdivision [General Rule, Guidelines,
Section 15061(6)]
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 5437, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to Subdivider to record same, based upon the
findings and subject to the condition set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No 1875, passed on August 8,
1988.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an exception to Section
11- 3118.1 of the Subdivision Ordinance for undergrounding
utilities is hereby approved:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No 5437 is consistent with the City's General Plan,
,and pursuant to Section 11- 3112(h) determines that discharge of
'waste from the subdivision into the sewer system will not
violate regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 20th of September, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:

and President Corica 5.
