APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 5478 (627 PACIFIC AVENUE)
AND GRANTING AN EXCEPTION FROM SECTION 11- 3118.1
OF THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE REQUIRING UNDERGROUNDING
OF UTILITIES
WHEREAS, Shito Sakai, owner and subdivider, has presented
to the Council for approval a Parcel Map for subdivision of
property into two residential lots located at 627 Pacific Avenue,
and known as Parcel Map 5478.
WHEREAS, on September 12, 1988, the Alameda Planning
Board determined that there would be no significant environmental
impact from the proposed subdivision [General Rule, Guidelines,
Section 15061(6)].
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 5478, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to Subdivider to record same, based upon the
findings and subject to the conditions set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No. 1885, passed on September
12, 1988.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an exception to Section
11- 3118.1 of the Subdivision Ordinance for undergrounding
utilities is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No 5478 is consistent with the City's General Plan,
and pursuant to Section 11- 3112(h) determines that discharge of
waste from the subdivision into the sewer system will not
violate regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 4th of October, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Monsef, Thomas and
President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Camicia - 1.
