AWARDING CONTRACT TO WILLIAM WHITE CONSTRUCTION
FOR REHABILITATION OF OPEN-END CULVERTS, PHASE I,
NO. P.W. 6-88-10 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Rehabilitation of Open-End
Culverts, Phase I, in accordance with Specifications No. P.W.
6-88-10 approved September 6, 1988; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by William White Construction agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$44,855.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of William White Construction is hereby
accepted, the contract for Rehabilitation of Open-End Culverts,
I \ Phase I, is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is
. 'hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
-:',,‘contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that-the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular
meeting assembled on the 20th of October, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
