A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
DESIGNATING 1630 NINTH STREET AS A CITY HISTORICAL MONUMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda Historical Advisory Commission on August 4,
1988, unanimously recommended designation of the exterior of 1630 Ninth Street as a
City Historical Monument; and
WHEREAS, the building is a unique exa

WHEREAS, the exterior of the building has excellent detailing which is well
maintained and largely unchanged; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda on October 18, 1988, voted to
place the building on the City Historical Monument register.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda to
officially designate the exterior of the ltalianate building at 1630 Ninth Street as a City
Historical Monument.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 1st of November, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
