Resolution 11589CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11589 AUTHORIZING ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE GOLF COURSE ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM ON TWO HOLES OF THE JACK CLARK GOLF COURSE WHEREAS, in January 1988 the first phase of a major 10 hole irrigation renovation project, as identified and approved in the 1988-89 Capital Improvement Budget, for holes 12 and 13 of the Jack Clark Golf Course was completed by in-house staff; and WHEREAS, the next phase of the irrigation renovation project encompasses the 14th and 15th holes and includes excavation of existing fairways; hauling in of additional soil to reshape fairways on land filled dump areas; installation of necessary electrical service, six-inch main water line and placement of sprinkler heads on 60 foot centers to irrigate fairways and greens; placement of a 24 station irrigation controller; testing and adjustment of automatic irrigation system; and mulching and hydroseeding new fairways. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the installation of an automatic irrigation system on the 14th and 15th holes of the Jack Clark Course is hereby approved and the sum of $120,000 is hereby allocated from the Golf Course Enterprise Account to fund this project. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of November, 1988, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Monsef, Thomas and President Corica - 4.
