AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO SERVICE CONTRACT
WITH GEORGE HILLS COMPANY, INC. FOR LIABILITY CLAIMS
ADJUSTING AND ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1984, the City of Alameda/
Bureau of Electricity authorized execution of a service contract
with George Hills Company, Inc. for the purpose of providing
supervision and administration of the City's Liability Self-
Insurance Program, and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been
prepared and submitted to the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized
to execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, on behalf of the
City an amendment to the agreement heretofore entered into
between the City of Alameda/Bureau of Electricity and George
Hills Company, Inc. for general liability claims adjusting and
administration services, said amendment to reflect an increase in
the adjuster's hourly rate for service and a month to month
contract extension of said agreement to commence December 1,
1988.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 15th of November, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Monse Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
