APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 5435 FOR DIVISION OF
PROPERTY IN ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE, PERMITTING
RECORDING THEREOF, AND ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEDICATED
EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, Alameda Real Estate Investments, a California
limited partnership, has presented to the Council for approval
Parcel Map No 5435 which consists of five parcels within
Alameda Marina Village located north of Atlantic Avenue, east of
Triumph Drive, and south of the Marina View Towers and being a
division of Lot 2, Parcel Map No 4600, recorded in Parcel Map
Book 154, at pages 72-75, Alameda County Records, Alameda,
California; and
WHEREAS, said Parcel Map delineates thereon easements
for public utilities over, under, in and upon the areas
designated "Public Utilities Easement" (PUE), dedicated to the
City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, on October 2, 1984, the City Council certified
that the final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) had been
completed in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act
(CEQA) and state guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby certifies that it has
reviewed and considered the information contained in the EIR.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11-1319.1 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, Parcel Map No 5435, heretofore accepted and
conditionally approved by the Planning Board, is hereby approved
and permission given to subdivider to record same, based upon the
findings and subject to the conditions set forth in City of
Alameda Planning Board Resolution No. 1911 passed on November 14,
1988.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the easements for public
utilities dedicated to the City of Alameda are hereby accepted,
on behalf of the City, for use in conformity with the terms of
the offers of dedication.
o BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
44 °11-3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council finds
Parcel Map No. 5435 is consistent with the City's General Plan.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 20th of December, 1988,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
