AWARDING CONTRACT TO KING C. ELECTRIC, INC. FOR
TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONSTRUCTION AT BROADWAY AND BUENA
VISTA AVENUE, NO. P.W. 10- 88 -18, AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for for the construction of a
traffic signal at the intersection of Broadway and Buena Vista
Avenue, in accordance with Specifications No P.W. 10 -88 -18
approved November 15, 1988; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by King C. Electric, Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$44,849.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of King C. Electric, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for the construction of a traffic signal
at Broadway and Buena Vista Avenue is hereby awarded to said
bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 3rd of January, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci.lmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef, Thomas
and President Corica 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
