Resolution 11654CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11654 APPROVING AMENDED AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR TRAUMA AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL DEFIBRILLATION OVERSIGHT RESPONSIBILITIES WHEREAS, on October 20, 1987, the Council of the City of Alameda approved Resolution No. 11324 authorizing an agreement between the City of Alameda and Alameda County for oversight responsibilities by the county for Alameda Fire Department EMT-Defibrillation and Trauma Triage programs; and WHEREAS, the County is responsible, as the oversight agency, to review all tapes, transcriptions, pre-hospital care reports and outcomes and in reviewing medical quality assurance and medical control systems and procedures in the two programs; and WHEREAS, the City is responsible to reimburse the Emergency Medical Service District for costs related to oversight of these programs; and WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated between the City and the County which lowers the cost from $1,100.00 per month to $700.00 per month; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, , respectively, on behalf of the City, a Modification of Agreement between the City of Alameda and Alameda County for Trauma and Emergency Medical Defibrillation Oversight Responsibilities. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of February, 1989, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Counci1members Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef, Thomas and President Corica - 5.
