AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF A TRUCK FOR THE GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, there is need for a pick-up truck for the Golf
Course and the best vehicle for intended use is a four cylinder
small size truck; and
WHEREAS, the vehicle needed is available through the
Cooperative Purchasing Agreements with the State of California;
and
WHEREAS, cost of the vehicle needed is $7,810.14
including an early payment discount of $200.00 and there are
sufficient funds available in the Equipment Replacement Fund to
provide for this purchase; and
WHEREAS, the City Purchasing Agent is hereby directed
to act as representative for the City to complete this
transaction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter
said Council hereby authorizes the purchase of this vehicle
through the State of California Cooperative Purchasing Agreements
for the sum of $7,810.14 net.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 21st of February, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Arnerich, Camicia, Nonsef, Thomas
and President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
