ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF OPEN SPACE EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC PARK PURPOSES FROM LIGHTHOUSE COVE PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION (PARCEL B OF
TRACT 5527)
WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation, subdivider, has
presented to the Council of the City of Alameda for approval a
final map based on the Tentative Map for Tract 5850; and
WHEREAS, said Tentative Map for Tract 5850, which
consists of six residential lots and is a subdivision of Parcel C
of Tract 5527 located at Lighthouse Cove on Old Alameda Point and
Oleander Avenue, was approved by the Planning Board per
Resolution No 1878 on August 22, 1988, and by said Council on
September 20, 1988 per Resolution No 11558; and
WHEREAS, Condition 19 of Planning Board Resolution No
1878 requires that the park in Lighthouse Cove, Parcel B of Tract
5527, be included within an open space easement dedicated to the
City of Alameda and maintained by the homeowners association,
and
WHEREAS, Lighthouse Cove Planned Development
Homeowners Association has submitted a grant of open -space
easement to the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City that
said easement be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Alameda that said open space easement from Lighthouse
Cove Planned Development Homeowners' Association to the City ,of
Alameda for public park purposes is hereby accepted on behalf of
the City of Alameda, and said Council, acting for and on behalf
of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said easement
and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by
Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2.1t of February, 1989,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci1members Arnerich, Camicia, Monsef and Thomas - 4.
NOES: President Corica 1.
ABSENT: None.
